Welcome to the
richard a. schaeffer memorial fund
Rick Schaeffer was a tireless promoter of Mass Spectrometry
for almost three decades until his death in an automobile-tractor trailer accident in 2004. Shortly
after that, his family, friends and associates formed the Richard A. Schaeffer Memorial Fund to
honor his memory. The purpose of the Richard A. Schaeffer Memorial Fund is to help students and post-doctoral fellows
in the field of mass spectrometry with the expenses associated for the presentation of their current work at scientific conferences.
Rick's legacy will continue as we support the values and works that were important to him.
This year's spring fling will once again be at Colton Hall in Claridge, PA. The date of the event is April 28, 2012. Please check the official
